HUITEX® HDPE Lining Materials,
Supplied From Singapore Stock
Alongside our installation work we supply the HUITEX® HDPE materials we use ourselves. Smooth liner strip, stud liner and welding rod to contractors and project teams carrying out their own lining, capping and repair works. If you would rather have the material installed and tested as well, that sits under our services.

HUITEX® HDPE Smooth Liner — 2.0mm
Flat, smooth-faced HDPE strip supplied in 100mm or 150mm widths. It is the capping material for HDPE lining work: laid over a panel joint, a fixing detail or a completed repair, then extrusion-welded down both edges so the covered detail becomes part of the continuous liner rather than a seam in it.
At 2.0mm it is the lighter of the two smooth grades — easier to handle overhead and in confined spaces, quicker to weld, and it conforms more readily around curved surfaces and smaller-diameter details.

HUITEX® HDPE Smooth Liner — 2.5mm
The same smooth liner strip in a heavier section. Specified where the capping strip will take more mechanical exposure — flow-scoured inverts, high-traffic chambers, details that will be walked on during the rest of the works — or simply where the project specification calls for the thicker grade.
Supplied in the same 100mm and 150mm widths as HD-200 and welded the same way, so the two can be used alongside each other on a single job without changing method or equipment.

HUITEX® HDPE Stud Liner — 2.5mm
HDPE sheet with studs moulded into one face. The studded face is cast against wet concrete, and once the pour has set the studs lock the liner mechanically into the structure — giving a permanent, bonded lining rather than a sheet held on by adhesive or fixings. The exposed face stays smooth, and panels are joined by extrusion welding so the finished lining is continuous.
This is the standard way of protecting the crowns and walls of sewers, manholes, pump station wet wells and water-retaining structures, where hydrogen sulphide and abrasion would otherwise eat into the concrete over the life of the asset. The completed lining can be spark tested before handover to confirm there are no pinholes or missed welds.

HUITEX® HDPE Welding Rod — 4mm
Extruded HDPE rod, 4mm diameter, supplied on 5kg rolls. This is the filler material for extrusion welding — fed into the welding gun, melted and laid into the joint between two HDPE surfaces so the rod and the parent material fuse into a single mass of polyethylene.
Because it is the same polymer family as the liner it joins, the finished weld is a homogeneous joint rather than a bonded one: there is no adhesive layer to age, creep or debond. Used for panel seams, capping strips, patches and detail work around penetrations.
